JOBLAAN (“we”, “us”) operates the JOBLAAN recruitment platform at joblaan.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

Account data: your name, email address, country, and account type.

Profile data you choose to add: headline, experience, education, skills, languages, contact details and links.

Documents you upload, such as resumes. Resumes are stored privately and are shared only with employers you apply to.

Usage data: pages viewed, searches and device information needed to run and secure the service.

How we use data

To provide the service: create your account, show relevant jobs, deliver applications to employers and send notifications you request.

To keep the platform safe: prevent fraud and spam, investigate reported listings and enforce our terms.

To improve JOBLAAN using aggregated, de-identified statistics.

Sharing

When you apply to a job, the employer receives your profile, cover note and the resume you select. Employers may not access resumes you have not shared with them.

We use service providers (hosting, email, payments) under contracts that protect your data. We do not sell personal data.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your profile information and resumes at any time from your dashboard, withdraw applications, and turn off email alerts. To delete your account, contact support@joblaan.com.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by role, and sensitive actions are logged. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
